I am surrounded by pregnant women! I think winter has nothing better to offer dull married’s than the prospect of making babies! There! I sound like a bitter old spinster facing a life perpetuated by madness and cats!

No, seriously, a quiet week in the office and no less than four pregnancies have left me with a wealth of knowledge about fashion and maternity, and I do have to feel sorry for those facing a summer of swollen ankles and alcohol free pub gardens.

So I will point you in the direction of good old Dorothy Perkins who are doing a great line in smock tops (pictured)and jeans and Blooming Marvellous who do the type clothes you will want if you are a Gap kinda girl. Topshop as always have an amazing range, but I always talk about them and you should know by now to have a look, even if your hormones are all over the place!
